CARI Commences Major Research Seminar at its office in Suakoko, Bong County

The research seminar is intended to hear from agriculture researchers at the Institute on latest research technologies that they have discovered that are beneficial to farmers in Liberia.

The research seminar is seeing the presentation of several agriculture research works.

Speaking at the official opening of the seminar on Tuesday, CARI Director General Dr. Arthur Bob Karnuah said the seminar is essential to especially farmers who are the direct beneficiaries of research technologies.

Dr. Karnuah added that CARI must ensure that its mandate must be fully executed to promote the ARREST Agenda.

The CARI Director General emphasized the critical role of CARI in agriculture productivity across Liberia.

Dr. Karnuah added that his administration will not reneck on his vision of putting CARI on the map of renowned agriculture research institutes in the sub region.

CARI is the nation's only agriculture research institute that has a mandate of executing applied and adaptive research.

Creating innovation and new agriculture technologies that can be used by farmers to improve farming and agriculture productivity and food security.

The research seminar which started on Tuesday will end this Friday.
